Recent Projects:

Monitoring of fuel treatment projects in the following Provincial Parks: Kalamalka Lake, Ellison, Fintry and Birkenhead Lake. Responsible for ensuring site impact was minimized, prescriptions were implemented as written, and provided communication to the general public to ensure the dissemination of information regarding the projects.

Wildlife Danger Tree Assessments for three provincial coastal parks. Assessed the effects of wind damage from the fall 2006 wind event on the coast for Saltery Bay, Porpoise Bay and Alice Lake Provincial Parks. Provided recommendations for hazard abatement, tree removal and volume realization from the removal of wind fall.

Galiano Wildfire Rehabilitation Plan for Galiano Island Fire, #V60335. Developed a rehabilitaion plan for private land impacted by suppression activities. Implemented the plan with a high regard for the landowner values.
